Hello and welcome to Brave Enough To Tri!

I’m a sometimes runner and full-time student who has finally decided to tackle my first triathlon.  My dear college friend and I have signed up to run West Point‘s 24th Annual Triathlon together.  We’ll be training in parallel from different cities and plan to reconnect on race weekend.  The triathlon itself is on August 18th – check out the countdown in the sidebar.  I’m already excited and nervous about race day!

I’ve decided to start Brave Enough to Tri (BETT) to keep me accountable for training, to share my journey with family and friends, and to (probably, eventually) fundraise for a cause that’s really important to me.  More to come on that.

Thanks for stopping by – and remember, as Dolly Parton said, “you’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try!”
